Welcome to the Hollister Art League
web site. Join us in our efforts to bring fine art
to San Benito County through local exhibits and a
supportive environment for artists in all mediums.
The objectives
of the organization are to promote an interest in
and recognition of visual art, encourage support and
appreciation of art, promote learning for its
members and assist in the community-wide interest in
art.
The Hollister
Art League supports youth art by awarding
scholarships annually to area high school students
and by sponsoring the San Benito County Fair juried
junior art exhibition. The Hollister Art
League sponsors art exhibits at local
establishments and is the primary sponsor for the
annual San Benito County Open Studios Tour of local
artists.

Hollister Art League welcomes both artists
and those that simply love the arts as well
as interested in helping to develop the arts
in San Benito County. Everyone is
welcome to attend our monthly meetings.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each
month at 6:30 p.m. at Country Rose Gallery and Frame

High
School Scholarships
Any graduating high school senior who is planning on
furthering their education in Fine Arts may apply. A
portfolio of 6 - 8 pieces of their work must be
submitted to the Career Center by May 12, 2004. A
panel of judges will review the submitted portfolios
and monetary awards will be given with a receipt of
transcript of classes to a college of their
