The Hollister
Art League supports youth art by awarding
scholarships annually to area high school students. The Hollister Art
League sponsors art exhibits at local
establishments and is active in the
annual San Benito County Open Studios Tour of area artists.
The 2010 Hollister Art League Calendar, Victorian Houses of San Benito County, is now available
for purchase at Country Rose Gallery and Frame, 722 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA and The Blak Sage Gallery, 727 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA. This calendar was made possible by a grant from the San Benito County Arts Council. Each calendar cost $10.
High
School Scholarships
Any graduating high school senior who is planning on
furthering their education in Fine Arts may apply. A
portfolio of 6 - 8 pieces of artwork must be
submitted to the Career Center by May 12. A
panel of judges will review the submitted portfolios. Monetary awards will be given on receipt of
